One globe.
Your next adventure.
A quick guide to your first guess, your next discovery and a little friendly competition.
1. Pick your challenge
From the game menu, choose Capitals, Countries, Which country?, Cities, Landmarks or Languages. Choose a one-minute or three-minute solo session, then a continent or the whole world. New to geography games? Countries is a good place to start: your pin can land anywhere inside the country.
2. Get your bearings
Drag the globe to rotate it. Use the mouse wheel on desktop, or pinch on a touch screen, to change your altitude. Reset view brings the globe back to the current question’s overview. Place names are hidden while you are guessing.
3. Make your guess
In pin modes, drag the little person from the corner onto the place you think is right. The pin submits when you let go with Precision Mode off. Optional Precision Mode adds a magnified aiming crosshair, extra zoom and fine positioning buttons: place your marker, check it, then confirm. Survival always separates placing a marker from confirming the answer. Dragging or pinching the globe never submits a Survival answer. In Which country?, a pin is already placed: choose from four country names. A solo hint can help, at the cost of half the available points.
4. Learn from the reveal
Your result shows the correct location, your distance and your score. Country and language answers use the relevant borders; city, capital and landmark answers reward a close pin. Open the discovery information for more context. In solo learning mode the clock pauses while you study; choose Next when you are ready.
5. Play together
Play online searches for a human opponent first, then adds a labelled practice bot after 12 seconds if nobody joins. Online games have three one-minute rounds with changing modes and regions. To play someone you know, open Friends, create a private room and share its invitation. Private rooms wait for your friend and do not add bots.
6. Keep your progress
Sign in before playing to earn cloud XP and join the global leaderboards. Answered questions earn XP even when you get them wrong; skips do not. Finish the solo session or complete all multiplayer rounds, then wait for the saved-XP message. Online guest XP is saved for this browser and can be carried into an account when you sign up or sign in here. Finish the game and wait for XP to save first. Older offline-only scores cannot be verified for global boards.
